Get Calm With Clay - Handbuilding Ceramics Sessions.
Designed to allow your creativity to flow, giving you space to let go of stress and enjoy the tactile medium of clay, soothing and easing your brain into serenity.
Session 1 - We will use handbuilding techniques to form something of your design. I will be on hand to guide you through each step. Common techniques that we use are: the slab technique, coil building and my favourite; pinch pots.
After drying, your work will be bisque fired in our kiln.
Session 2 - You will decorate and glaze your work.
Both sessions are two hours long and take place at Robbins Lane Studios in Newport.
